REST IN JESUS: You Are Loved, Chosen, and Free (Stop Striving — Receive Grace Today)

REST IN JESUS: You Are Loved, Chosen, and Free (Stop Striving — Receive Grace Today)

Take a deep breath right now.

Wherever you are — reading this in your room, on a train, in the office, or late at night when your thoughts won’t slow down — I want you to know something deeply personal:

You are seen.
You are loved.
And you are held by grace.

Jesus is with you.
You are not alone.

When Life Feels Heavy

Maybe life feels overwhelming right now.

Maybe you're tired of trying.
Maybe you feel unsure about your future.
Maybe you're carrying burdens you were never meant to bear.

Here is the truth:

Jesus has already done the work.

You do not have to earn what has already been given.

His grace is enough for you.

You Are Not a Slave — You Are a Child of God (Galatians 4)

In Galatians 4, Scripture reminds us that we are no longer slaves but children of God. Through Jesus, we have been adopted into His family.

Think about that.

You are not a servant trying to impress a distant master.
You are a beloved son or daughter with full access to your Father’s love.

That means:

  • You don’t have to strive to earn His love — it’s already yours.

  • You don’t have to prove your worth — Jesus already made you worthy.

  • You don’t have to live in fear — you belong.

God delights in you.

When He looks at you, He does not see your failures.
He sees Jesus.

He calls you righteous.
He calls you chosen.
He calls you His own.

Grace Over Works (Ephesians 2:8–9)

Religion says:

Work harder.
Do more.
Try to be better.

Grace says:

It is finished.

Ephesians 2:8–9 tells us:

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Your salvation is a gift.
Your righteousness is a gift.
Your acceptance is a gift.

It is not something to achieve.
It is something to receive.

Right now, lay down your striving.

Let go of the pressure to be “good enough.”

Jesus is your goodness.
His grace is your covering.
His love is unshakable, unchanging, and never-ending.

Jesus Is Your Rest (Matthew 11:28)

Maybe you feel weary today.

Tired from holding everything together.
Tired from pretending you're okay.
Tired from carrying responsibilities alone.

Jesus says in Matthew 11:28:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Notice what He doesn’t say.

He doesn’t say:

  • Fix yourself first.

  • Try harder.

  • Come back when you’re better.

He simply says:
Come.

You don’t have to carry everything.
You don’t have to figure everything out.
You don’t have to be strong all the time.

Jesus is your strength.
Jesus is your peace.
Jesus is your rest.

Right now, take a deep breath and surrender.

Say:

“Jesus, I give it all to You.
I trust You.
I receive Your grace.”

Your Future Is Secure (Romans 8:38–39)

The enemy wants you to fear tomorrow.

But Scripture declares something powerful in Romans 8:38–39:

Nothing — not death, not life, not angels, not demons, not fears, not worries, not even your past mistakes — can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

Your life is not in the hands of chance.
Not in fate.
Not even in your own ability.

You are in God’s hands.

And His plans for you are good.
Plans to give you hope.
Plans to give you a future.

Jesus is already ahead of you, making a way.

So let go of fear.
Let go of doubt.
Trust Him.

A Prayer for You

Let me pray over you.

Jesus,
Thank You for the person reading this right now.
Thank You for loving them, holding them, and calling them Your own.
Remind them that they are fully loved, fully forgiven, and fully accepted.
Let them walk in peace, joy, and confidence in Your grace.
Lift their burdens. Calm their fears. Strengthen their hearts.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Final Encouragement

You are loved.
You are chosen.
You are free.

Walk in that truth today.

Rest in Jesus.

He is with you.

Always.

“He Hears Your Cry” WorshipTogether

Listening to worship songs about how much Jesus loves me takes my depression and anxiety away.

Indeed, it is true. THERE IS POWER in the name of JESUS!

🎙️ Spoken Word:

“He Hears Your Cry” WorshipTogether

(Jesus, Grace-Filled, Christian Motivation)

[Intro – soft piano with gentle heartbeat rhythm]

In times of trouble…

when no one picks up the phone,

when even your own strength says,

“I’m out.”

Know this:

The Lord hears your cry.

Not the polished prayer.

Not the Instagram caption.

Not the rehearsed worship song.

He hears the real cry.

The one soaked in tears.

The one whispered between panic attacks.

The one shouted in frustration behind closed doors.

Psalm 20:1

“In times of trouble, may the Lord answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm.”

[Spoken build – warmth intensifies]

You are not alone.

You are not forgotten.

You are not too far, too broken, too late.

Jesus never said,

“You won’t have trouble.”

He said,

“Take heart. I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

So yes, the storm may come…

But so does the Savior.

[Spoken hook – full of grace]

Grace shows up.

When you run out of words.

When you run out of plans.

When you run out of you.

Jesus steps in.

Not with condemnation —

But with compassion.

Hebrews 4:16

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

[Spoken bridge – soft and intimate tone]

So cry if you must.

Fall apart if you need to.

But know this:

God catches every tear.

Jesus still intercedes.

Grace is still stronger than grief.

[Declaration – bold and uplifting]

You will not drown.

You will not be destroyed.

You will not be defeated.

Because the One who answers by fire

is the same One who whispers peace.

[Closing – calm piano]

So in times of trouble…

may the Lord answer your cry.

Not because you’re perfect —

but because He is faithful.

You cried…

He heard.

He’s coming through.

In His time.

In His way.

Through Jesus, your victory is sure.

Amen.

From Demonic Warlock in Training to Following JESUS! 🤯 | Richard Lorenzo Jr.'s Transformational Journey

From Demonic Warlock in Training to Following JESUS! 🤯 | Richard Lorenzo Jr.'s Transformational Journey

Richard Lorenzo Jr.'s story is a testament to the power of resilience, faith, and personal transformation. Once immersed in a life of crime, addiction, and spiritual turmoil, he has now become a beacon of hope and a spiritual leader. His journey reveals how even the darkest moments can lead to profound redemption.

From Darkness to Light: The Early Struggles

  • Dual Lives: Growing up in a middle-class Puerto Rican family in Fort Lauderdale, Richard excelled academically but struggled with identity and peer pressure. This led him to live a double life—thriving in school while engaging in criminal activities.

  • College Years: At the University of Central Florida (UCF), Richard’s lifestyle escalated into heavy partying, drug dealing, and addiction. Despite spiritual encounters, he remained trapped in destructive habits.

  • Military Years: Joining the Navy expanded his worldview but also deepened his involvement in illegal activities, including international drug trafficking.

Seeking Purpose: Dabbling in Spiritual Practices

  • Exploration of Occult Practices: Searching for meaning, Richard delved into witchcraft, voodoo, and New Age rituals. These experiences led to deeper confusion and spiritual emptiness.

  • Critical Encounters: In moments of despair, he met Christians who shared their faith in unconventional places, challenging his beliefs and opening the door to Christianity.

The Turning Point

  • Church Visit: After stepping into a church and experiencing worship, Richard began to feel a profound sense of conviction.

  • Scriptural Breakthrough: Reading the Book of Romans, he realized the truth and transformative power of Jesus Christ, leading to his spiritual awakening.

  • Purpose Found: Richard embraced his faith fully, dedicating his life to ministry. He now leads the Remnant Revival Outreach Center in Central Florida, sharing his testimony to inspire others.

Encouragement for Your Journey

Richard Lorenzo Jr.'s story is a powerful reminder that no matter how far you feel from hope, redemption is always within reach. Whether you're facing personal struggles, uncertainty, or moments of despair, there is a way forward.

Take Heart in These Truths:

  • You Are Not Alone: Challenges are part of life, but so is the strength to overcome them.

  • Growth Awaits: Each struggle can lead to profound growth and transformation.

  • Faith and Community Matter: Lean on your faith and supportive communities to find guidance and hope.

Remember, like Richard, you have the ability to transform your life and inspire others. Embrace your journey, trust in the process, and take each step forward with courage and determination.
